Okay, I’m just gonna say it—hating on Tokio Hotel and bullying their fans is the dumbest thing ever. Like, what’s the point? Every time I log onto TikTok or tell my friends ab them, I see people making fun of them, calling them emo or goth or whatever. It’s the same tired insults, and honestly, it’s getting old. Here’s a newsflash: you’re not edgy or cool for hating on them. You’re just being a jerk.

First of all, let’s talk about Tokio Hotel. These guys are talented AF. Bill Kaulitz’s voice? Iconic. Tom’s guitar? Killer. Gustav and Georg on drums and bass? Solid. They’re literally out here making amazing music, and if you can’t respect that, then you’re just jealous. Simple as that. Just because they don’t fit into your little mainstream bubble doesn’t mean they’re not good. Actually, it’s what makes them better.

And to all the bullies out there attacking Tokio Hotel fans, like, seriously? You’re picking on people because of the music they like? It’s 2014, get over it. We’re all just trying to find something that speaks to us, and for a lot of us, Tokio Hotel’s music does that. Their lyrics? Deep. Their style? Bold. Their message? Always real. So why are you so threatened by it?

I don’t care if you listen to pop, rap, or metal—it doesn’t give you the right to bash someone else’s taste. And, fun fact: just because someone likes a band you don’t doesn’t mean they’re emo, goth, or whatever label you’re trying to slap on them. Ever heard of individuality? I know, it’s a wild concept, but it exists.

Being part of the Tokio Hotel fanbase is about more than just the music. It’s about belonging to something bigger. So, if you don’t get it, cool, but don’t go around trashing people for what they love. We’re not out here attacking your favorite artists (okay, maybe a little, but it’s all in good fun), so why the hate on Tokio Hotel? Let people enjoy things, FFS.
