Something Something Scott Pilgrim 2

I don't mean to blast this person, but I've been thinking about this lately. Someone had told me that they didn't like Scott in the comic and movie because he was an asshole but they liked Scott in Takes off. Honestly, from what I've seen so far of the show, I think Scott is more bearable because he's not entirely the main focus. But I think him being an asshole was the whole point of his character. He's supposed to start out as a total dickwad and better himself as the story progresses. Then again, I've been rereading the comics for the umpteenth time so that's what I've picked up on the story. (Please don't take me word for any of this. I'm not very good at comprehending stories so I could always be wrong. Also sorry to the person if they are reading this I don't mean to sound rude)
