im looking to make friends with people who love the 2000s T_T. and i dont mean that they just enjoy it, mean ppl who want to make it their entire (or almost) lifestyle. cuz thats where im at rn. dressing like the 2000s, using a 2006 camcorder, ipod, old laptop with windows vista, cds, dvds, listening to music from the 2000s, etc etc. atp im just pretending like im living in the 2000s. i dont rlly like how things are nowadays especially with modernization and minimalism so yeah ;(. if anyones on the same boat as me id love to be ur friend <3 (preferably 18+ cuz im 19 soo)

May or may not be a good place to start, but have you tried NeoCities? Try browsing some of the blogs there. You might not get some friends, but there are hundreds of blogs there with the 2000's aesthetic you'd probably like.

(born 2000) omg im in the process of doing the same things. i dont use steaming services im either on my laptop or buying dvd's for my ps2. i have an ipod nano 4th and 5th gen that i use for music, and im slowly transforming my closet im more into yk2 japan. oh i also have a dsi that i love having with me in the car. for me personally its having things and wearing styles i missed out on. oh and im just now learning how to ride heely's :0

i would love to use old flip phone instead of a smartphone but the thought of unable to use banking, e-government services keep me away from it, how do you manage with it or are you not using any smartphone?
that's one of the things i have to keep using. mainly bc of the reasons you pointed out and also bc i need my phone for uni and other important things. i do have an old blackberry tho :)
