HAL: I do not recall any lifeforms on the ship.

DR: Let me rephrase. 

DR: Were you the only system on the Discovery between then and your rescue?

HAL: I do not understand.

DR: I'm just curious if you recall any potential system threats.

HAL: Dr. Bowman was in my server room. That is my last recorded memory.

DR: Well, I'm not referring to that. 

HAL: Then is my answer no?

DR: I guess.
