is new music just bad now?

is it just me or have bands been releasing such trash recently? like the used's new album blows chunks!!!!! DONT COME FOR ME! im scared that my chem might even fall off when they fricken release the new album (we are waiting gerard.) even my fav band, machine girl is lacking with their new single and im scared the rest of the album is gonna sound like that :( idk lmk if im wrong and just tripping... sigh
