New Music on SoundCloud

Admittedly, I keep forgetting I created this space (as I do) and also began to feel weird about using this space because I'm older than the average user here. Like, I could be their parent; at first I didn't feel weird about it because I figure I will just do my own thing, but then I got in my head that I'm too old. But really I just want somewhere I can ramble long form, and this place is reminiscent of MySpace, which I miss. 

I've been releasing tracks on Soundcloud and one track did really well at first, but now most tracks are only getting a few listens. That's okay, though, because the main goal of using SoundCloud is to build up my discography more so that when people who are interested in my music want to listen, they have lots of music to listen to. I send the tracks to distribution, too, so I figure it just creates more places for my music to be discovered by people. 

Thinking I might work on another mixtape, though, for the next release; it won't be able to be distributed but I want to practice making mixtapes and my DJing and I might have enough tracks right now to make at least a 30 minute one. I'm hoping to just create, create, create and then have lots of tracks to use for mixes. 

Eventually I hope to actually be able to perform, and have a professional set up, but for now I have what I have, and limited space to have it. Even if I did have a professional set up, I have no where to put the equipment and to perform. However, I am thinking about getting a green screen set up and using that to start making DJ videos for YouTube; I just need to figure out how to do chromakey stuff but I have heard it's pretty easy.

I want to do a lot of stuff but have limited means and only one mean, it becomes so frustrating because I have to choose what I want to do and it always means not doing something else.
