3DS Modding Help

Okayy so basically a while back my friend got my 3ds modded, but since I have my computer taken away I can’t do much with it, and I don’t really understand it well. If anything I only have like two concerns.

1. It’s asking me to do a software update, but I don’t know if I should (there some sort of program on there I think for it?)

2. How would someone use these to get Pokemon Sun Ultra? (Or really any game)

I also have to stay on mobile, but I can alter it to where it’s almost like a website on a computer rather than mobile.

Any assistance will be a great help!^^

Assuming that your friend followed 3ds.hacks.guide's modding tutorial...

1) For the software update, I would check your Luma3DS version and updating Luma to the latest version FIRST before looking into updating your actual system. This link should go more in-depth about what you should do to check your Luma3DS version and how to update it.

2) There's multiple ways to download games onto a modded 3DS, the most common one being through hShop, which can be downloaded right onto your 3DS, so you can get games anytime through there! To download it manually, though, get a .cia file of your chosen game, copy it into your SD card's /cia/ folder, and install it through FBI once you've put the SD card back into the 3DS.
