Society is structured in an interestingly harmful way that continually risks provoking extreme reactions from individuals who are either emotionally vulnerable or insufficiently indoctrinated to accept societal norms. When confronted with the realities and constraints of our social system, these individuals may be prone to extremely destructive behaviors. This is because they weren't able to also pick up on the implicit requirement to disregard or rationalize the glaring hypocrisy inherent in our social structure – that those in power seem to operate by different rules than the general population.
The majority of people in society are expected to be compliant and overlook the corruption and privileges enjoyed by the elite. This creates a paradoxical environment where different standards apply to different social strata. Those who aren't aware they should ignore these discrepancies may find themselves at odds with the established order, leading to disruptive and dangerous actions as a result of their interpretation.
