𝐌𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐣𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐣𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐍𝐨 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐈 𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐫)

This is just my opinion and if you have a different view please feel free to leave it in the comments. I'm always happy to hear other peoples takes.

I think of myself as a Tim Burton fan and I do enjoy most works that have his name attached to it. But like most sequels I went in with the underlying impression that this movie was just going to be nothing more than another cash grab by Hollywood.

Now some may still believe that to be true about this film but as for myself I did quite enjoy it, heck even my boyfriend who doesn't like Tim Burton films come out complimenting the movie. The storyline was solid in my opinion and the reasoning for the absences of the main cast from the previous film were acceptable, minus one side character that I thought would at least be mentioned as either "working out-of-state" or just handling other matters elsewhere for the time being.

I did go into the film blind as to not spoil any cameos for myself. What I can say is I was upset not to hear a particular song in the film that was in the previous one. Not saying it was a staple track but it was a pretty significant one but might make sense with the cast list.

As for the new characters, there was a character in particular that I thought would have more of a significance based on the trailer that was released. Although they did get a backstory in my eyes their part was just to fill empty space (No offense).

Other than that here is my rating for plot, acting, characters, cinematography, & soundtrack.
