Another mindless rant

I understand the last line so much, sure being famous sounds like such an amazing opportunity but what I really want for the most part is to be seen. I want to leave an impact and make something great where in a few years from now some kid who is currently my age is going to be inspired the same way I have been inspired by other artists.

The thing about us artists is that we’re not paid attention to much as some believe we may not contribute much to society other than forms of entertainment or the alike but that’s very untrue. Art, REAL art, not one generated by machine, I believe is one of the most valuable things we have and to have that be taken away by corporate scum and people who don’t care at all really hurts

I think so toooo, but loads of people just kinda i mean they just don’t get it. When they see a painting its just a canvas with colours, when others see a painting they look for the story, the meaning why did the altist use the colour? why do i feel drawn to it? Sadly most people go with the first option and kind of take it for granted i guess

It honestly depends on what the painting is, sometimes there’s certain artworks that I just think are too silly to have that much meaning behind it but stuff like old renaissance paintings or whatever are really cool, not just the backstory to it but the amount of detail and work it has. It’s just so surreal to think of how these people made it back then

i think it was more a challenge for the posing people then for the artist, like… having some dude paint you in full detail. you gotta stand as still as a rock for at least 7 hours a day

You need really thick skin to be famous and also aware of what exactly you’re getting urself into because once you do there’s no exactly turning back. Yes, u can technically fall out of relevancy and maybe even end up living a normal life afterwards but the impact you have left will follow you along so if that’s what u want then I guess u better make it a good one.

I really appreciate ur words, I am somewhat proud of the progress I have made albeit it’s nothing amazing. I guess it’s comparison that tends to kill me for the most part which is why I have to learn to make art for myself and not the validation of others
