Mozart's older sister was considered a musical prodigy, even as far to say the best musician in all of europe at the time, but she was forced to quit because her parents encouraged that she go and find a husband instead. alot of people believe wolfgang (aka, mozart) was heavily influenced by his sister's talent in music which is what led him to become one of the most memorable classical musicians in history. to put it plainly, maria anna mozart could have become one of the most memorable musicians in history either instead/along with/of her younger brother, but she couldnt because of the more evidently rooted misogyny. ive been on fight or flight mode since i found out this, its so depressing (๑-﹏-๑)
internalized misogyny in the 1700's makes me xtremely sad :(

Ong. It’s so much more annoying when historians or whatever gloss over those intricate details to build up male figures. Now we have annoying gym rat and Andrew Tate bros who think men created the world… I remember I saw some idiot saying that men do everything throughout history and all women have really done is birth kids…
