Home sickness a real sickness?

It's been about three weeks since I've moved to college and Jesus do I miss home Ik i say that a lot but I've literally become physically ill because of it. I've been getting migraines, cold sores, stomachaches, and I've haven't been able to eat it's terrible. I called my mom she says I can't quit now and got to get used to it. But it's hard idk how to explain it, I keep myself distracted for awhile even my stupid roommate does something, or even being by myself and I start to cry. It's hard maybe I should wait for the end of the semester and if anything I'll just ask my mom if i could transfer. I like it here though I like the classes and the teachers, I just can't take being here. God I wished i had a driver license so I can go see them. I miss my family so much :((
