Had my first week as a high school freshman!

It went pretty okay for the most part. All of my teachers were really nice as well. Some of them even recognized me because my brother went to the same school! Only downside is the school building is HUGE. Makes getting to my classes a total pain in the ass. For example, I enrolled in an IT essentials class, and getting there on time is pretty difficult so far.

Even though it seems a bit scary for me, I have a lot of hope for high school. My years in junior high weren't as good. I was a really shy kid and didn't talk too much. I got bullied a few times, and that really took a toll on my mental health. I'm just glad I'll be able to put all of that behind me in high school and get a fresh start. It feels like I'll be able to be more open about who I am and make new friends because of it. It just feels like a huge weight being lifted off of my chest and being able to go out there and be myself.
