The social network I'm building: part 3

So I've talked a little bit about the beginning days of school, and how they went. This week went well though, after Wednesday had occurred. I began the first class session with the computer programming class I'm taking, and the Eng 195 college course my school offers dual enrollment to take. I am more excited about how computer programming went, as I was able to demo my idea and progress to a fellow student at my high school who is also taking computer programming not for the first time.

I have begun a partnership with him, in developing the site/company owning the site. The first thing we did, I having seen the social network (movie) recently, was draft of a legally binding agreement document that both of us have to sign, basically stating that as partners we can't screw each other over.

The partnership happened because I was mulling over what hardware to buy for a server to run the website on to request a grant, as its a school project now at the moment, and he stepped in making a few suggestions on what would be the best option for a couple categories of hardware. I then asked if he wanted to just be in on the project, and now he's a co-developer who's going to be helping rewrite the parts of the site I already have partially written.

I hope this leads to a thriving project and professional relationship, and that we don't split over this, causing everything we've worked on up until that point to be void of usefulness towards either of our futures.
