the winter season

winter is def the best season but i also love the lead-up to it

watching the leaves turn brown, the air get colder, listening to my fall playlist, biking past other houses covered in halloween decor, school dances, watching others get excited for christmas knowing that will be me soon, hearing the nfl theme play in the backround of my house, decorations everywhere, visiting farms and other fall activities, thanksgiving with my family, taking my dog on walks through the damp grass covered in leaves, raking the lawn for my parents, the first snow, sledding with my bestfriend, turning on my christmas/winter playlist the day after thanksiving, bus rides through the snow, going out to get a tree for my dads house, putting up the fake tree at my moms and decorating both of them, going to school in my cold weather drip, decorating my bedroom for christmas, calling my bsf to make our annual christmas sleepover plans, watching the classrooms decorate for christmas, watching nostalgic christmas movies with my family, christmas shopping with my family and getting each person over 7 gifts, drinking hot cocoa every morning and night, snow days, doing my makeup for school every morning, watching my little brother get excited to see where the elf on the slelf hid everyday, fuzzy socks, tights, going to different malls and stores for more gifts and stocking stuffers, going to 15 different houses for christmas eve, christmas eventually coming and opening all my gifts, wrapping paper covering all the floors, going to my other parents house to open MORE gifts, opening my stocking stuffers, staying up til midnight for new years, then getting sick of life during spring and life going back to boring and bland until next september
