My Dress Up Darling

(No spoilers) I caught up with My Dress Up Darling during this summer and have been keeping up with it ever since then. Holy shit this series is actually so fucking good. Throughout the span of the manga, Fukuda-Sensei (the mangaka) has begun to master so many of the storytelling elements. The series was amazing for the first 12 volumes; however REALLY picked things up right after that. Every chapter has been masterfully created to push such impactful narrative. The pacing has been absolutely perfect; the art has been extraordinary; and the masterful use of contrast has propelled the series into another stratosphere. There have been multiple moments in the past 20 or so chapters that have given me goosebumps and left me speechless. I get a certain feeling whenever a piece of media really speaks to me which lets me know that what I'm consuming is something truly special. This manga has given me multiple moments in just that short 20 chapter span along with a couple more throughout the rest of the story. The amount of passion, love, and care put into this manga is evident. Additionally, the anime is also an amazing adaptation of the first fifth of the manga. The intricate work done to ensure the right emotions hit at the right times was carefully transferred into a new medium such that the same emotions are brought forth. Also the voice acting and art is amazing because of course it is. I REALLY hope the series continues to be adapted into anime, as the story only gets better. If you enjoyed the anime, then believe me, that is only the tip of the iceberg.

TLDR: This manga is truly something special in my opinion and fukuda-sensei has continued to outdo she in the last 20 or so chapters repeatedly. Please give this manga a try. It's not too long currently (Only 108 chapters as of this post). There is some ecchi in the actual manga though it is not common and doesn't detract from the story (there is quite a bit of ecchi drawings fukuda-sensei has done if you really want them).
