First Day Of Highschool

September 5th, 2024

Today was weird. Not like, in a bad way, but everything was so new and confusing. I woke up at 5:00 AM and I immediately showered and did hygiene stuff. I had to leave my house at 6:30 to catch the bus. It was kinda cold outside, which was a little refreshing to be honest. It's usually **really** hot during the summers here. My friend Michael recognized me and he basically told me which bus to go on & everything and he was just super helpful. The bus ride in the morning was about 20 minutes? If I remember correctly? Me and some other friends got off the bus and we were just really lost. The campus is gigantic and we didn't know where to go for a while until we figured it out lol. For some reason that I still cannot fathom my friends decided it would be a good idea to sit DIRECTLY in the sunlight which sucked. I have really sensitive eyes and aaagghhhh it wasn't fun. After that, we were placed in groups based on our programs and I got a little lost but eventually found my way to the class I was supposed to be in. I think the principal complimented my shirt? It was a grey evanescence shirt I got from hot topic. Somehow they got me and couple other kids names wrong?? So we had to reprint our IDs and stuff. I made two friends in that class, I remember I asked this kid for his number because he looked cool, and then I just started talking to the dude next to me, and we all became friends!! I didn't know making friends was that easy!! After that we had lunch which lasted for an HOUR? So I just spent my lunch talking to one of the friends I made and then we went back into the classroom together lolz. After that the three hours of sleep started to kick in a little bit. I just drew for most of the class time? Then we had some "class meeting" where we met the guidance counselors, I was *NOT* paying attention at all. Two people decided to sit near me and immediately wanted to talk to me so then I made two more friends!! One of them even likes MCR!!! Then we had to back to class for 30 minutes but then we had an assembly in the cafeteria and honestly noone was paying attention. We were all just talking about random stuffz. After that we got dismissed and my bus took 25 minutes to actually start moving, so I got home at around 4:30? I passed out on my bed for three hours until my mom woke me up ROFL!! I had so much fun today!
