Skye <3

Skye is my dachshund, a mix between a brown dachshund and a black dachshund. Yesterday she turned 10 months old, and I love her more than anything in my life. If I'm alive today, it's clearly thanks to her. I've wanted a dog for a while. Last year, my mother kind of freaked out and came up with the idea of a dog. I supported her, my stepfather was a bit hesitant, but he didn't disagree. She contacted a salesperson and talked to him and stuff. But, if I'm not mistaken, a day or a few days before, we went to Morro da Conceição to see the sanctuary of Nossa senhora aparecida (Our Lady of Aparecida ??? idk english :P). I've never been very religious, but I don't regret going there. I asked to be moved to go to the first year of high school. I always ask for that when I go there, but that time was different. I asked her to let me get my dog. Even if I had to repeat the grade, I wouldn't care. I just wanted a dog. The next day, no one showed up at the seller's house that my mother was talking to. She texted me and said, "Unfortunately, we won't have a dog." I felt really bad, but I accepted. She went to my stepfather's house to see if she could find another seller, and she did. Skye was the last dog that was up for sale. My mother comes home, opens the door to my room, and I almost cry. I love her more than anything in my life. Literally, just looking at her for a long time makes me want to cry. For many people, that might not be the case, but for me, she was a blessing. Even though she messing up the whole house, I complaining a lot with her and she bit me a lot, I wouldn't trade her for anything. If I could live another life, I would definitely take Skye with me.

( ↓ I posted this cute picture of her on Pinterest, please don't follow me there ↓ )
