Why do people dislike it when someone uses their alphabet to make emoticons and stuff?

I don’t know if you’ve seen this but sometimes people would make posts on TikTok on instagram saying things like “don’t use Greek letters for your aesthetic” or like, similarly with the  Japanese letters シ and　ツ being used like smiley faces but…I don’t care?

I’m Arab, I’ve seen so many uses of our letters and numbers like ١٥٧٤♡ it LOOKS like love, but it’s 1574 ♡. And I don’t really care?? That’s so creative I don’t know how I didn’t think of it myself! Or ( ๑ ˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و ♡ where they used the letter و(waw) to make an arm? Like it’s fine its w/e. ٩( ᐛ )و Again, number ٩ (9) and the letter  و(waw). 

I never joined this conversation before because I didn’t see it being done to my language and therefore assumed that maybe it’s actually bad and I just didn’t get it…but now that I DO see it in my language I don’t care? Why do they care? It’s a silly emoji or swapping a letter for another, no one is getting hurt!
