eXceed 3rd is a doujin bullet hell in a similar vein to Touhou albeit with some easier mechanics. Player hit-box is pretty small allowing for incredibly tight squeezes through bullet patterns. Power ups are limited to Tiamats that give you a larger range shot and added homing when focused/slowed. You have a special attack you can use after a meter fills up from grazing bullets (bullets entering the player sprite but NOT the hitbox). There is also one character to play as. Auto-bombing is optional, but i used it here. Boss patterns i found to be very consistant with each cycle, making them overall easier to practice and memorize

5 Stages each with a boss and then a final boss fight after. I managed to finish with one bomb left and at my last life. Very fun game! A bit 'broken' feeling in a way. Idk, totally feels like it was made in someone's basement, but that's how most doujin games feel. Good stuff
