loving someone is never a waste

it's a quote that i cling to ever since i finished watching nana(i got that quote from the anime!) and to be honest, i never could've put it into words any better.

getting your heart broken - there is no other pain like it. when it happened to me, my friends told me: "what a waste of 6 months!", or "you wasted so much love". but for me, love can never evvverrr be wasted in the first place. 

no matter where i ended up or where the people ended up, we won't forget the people who loved us. even if it's remembered as the tears that rained onto our bed sheets, the never-ending laughter together, the disagreements, or the long phone calls, love is remembered. :)

i play songs to people that mean nothing to them, but meant something to me at one point in my life. i read old messages and realize that even if we cut ties, i offered them joy, warmth, and the realization that they were more than meets the eye. i draw and realize that even if my muse wasn't there anymore, i should be glad that they were even there in the first place, even if it was just for a moment; love will nevverr not teach you a lesson.

live with as much love as you can bear with your heart!!!!
