Profile Under Construction: A Game Plan

Howdy, y'all. You look lovely today, and I mean that sincerely! <3

Alright, so like most people I spend the vast majority of my time on Facebook due to its community entrenchment. I'd like to get away from it because obviously people have an interest in user customization and less cryptic, inconsistent moderation and to get out of the suggested content feedback loop and all that.

My goals for the profile include:

a sustainable, periodic frontend redesign that's comprehensive but functional (I'm a geek so it'll probably be geeky crap)

rich content support including Spotify, YouTube and hopefully link preview support embeds

and since there's a multi-faceted blog system, I could honestly see myself using it as an actual blog and pushing advice/tech writing and other social content I do to the profile that way.

It's a vague idea but I'll be working on it here and there outside of work (I'm active Navy) and if I get to or past my old MySpace profile in terms of functionality I'll be content with probably using it as my main social media presence outside of Discord, YouTube, FB, Insta and my professional (neglected) crap.

If you have any suggestions for content you'd like to see (again, you may or may not know me personally so general curiosity is the idea there), please don't hesitate. Similarly, I'm on the lookout for CSS/HTML code and embed methods which are concise and efficient while also bringing onboard some of the content we take for granted on the giants.
