why do people are so mean now days

Hi this is my first blog^^

I always thought the internet was a place for opinions, fun and knowledge, but now I realize how toxic the internet is, and not because of the internet itself, but because of the people who use it.

Now you can't even give your opinion lightly without many, many people attacking you for no reason. Like, I understand that there are people who don't give their opinion and instead spread hate, but there are times when people just want to share an opinion, you don't need to be mean or insult the person to the last generation just because you disagree.

The internet is increasingly toxic and that worries me a lot!
