How Much Has Music Changed Our Lives?

Before reading this blog, I'm letting you know that this is just my opinion and if you are not interested in music, please do not shit on me in the comments if you get bored half way through.

So, Music. How has it changed our lives? Quite a lot actually. I think we all have listened to some form of music in our lives.. Maybe you are listening to music right now. But how did it begin?

Well.. Theres no definitive answer to that.. Some speculate its as old as humanity itself. Which I think is true but not if you mean it literally. I mean it should've taken atleast a few thousand years before someone invented music. But.. We do posses the oldest known melody. The Hurrian Hymn no.6 from circa 1400 B.C.

It's simple but you can tell its not super boring. It might for some but don't go hard on it. Please..

We also have to thank people like Mozart, Beethoven, Vivaldi and other composers for making beautiful songs back in the 18th century and 19th century. I myself still find them very beautiful.

But Music has evolved and integrated more into our society since then.

For example we now have different genres of music. My preferences being Jazz, Rock and Hip-Hop or Funk. We also have music companies, singers, concerts, musicals, etc.

Music has become so widespread that if you don't know what music is, you basically have never seen the light of day.

As for my own opinion, I think you can't really go without music. Although we all have our own different tastes, I think we can all agree that music makes us feel more calm and relaxed. It's just that one song that just hits the spot for you. *vine boom sfx*

And let's be real, if something doesn't have music, its just bland and boring. It just doesn't give life to anything. Playing a game without a soundtrack makes playing it very boring. Same goes for movies. If theres no music playing, the movie will just feels bland and have no life to it. We need music. It gives life to things we love and we can't really go without it.
