ranking american horror story seasons!!

SPOILER WARNING!!! DONT READ IF U HAVENT FINISH AHS!

american horror story is my favorite tv show I love it sm! so anyways here's how id rank all the seasons <3 btw I split up double feature bc I hated death valley but liked red tide lol

1. murder house

the og! murder house has a special place in my heart bc it was ofc the first season I watched and the one that got me rlly interested in the show! I love love love the whole violet n tate story and I remember being absolutely SHOOK by the twist that violet was dead. I also love all the flashbacks with the house like the backstory on the montgomery family n stuff. 

2. hotel

ik a lot of ppl hate hotel but I loved it sm!! it was so stylish, from the fashion to the set design of hotel cortez. I also feel like hotel has the best characters like most of my favs are from hotel- james march, hypodermic sally, liz taylor, etc. the best moments from hotel were definitely the countess sucking the blood out of those ppl while she wants revenge plays, the whole devil's night episode, n when liz taylor n iris shoot the countess to hotline bling lol. murder house but art deco! 

3. asylum

I feel like asylum is definitely the most well done season of ahs. the last episode is absolutely incredible, probably the best episode in the whole show. the name game is one of my fav moments in ahs just so iconic! i love lana banana <3

4. cult

similarly to hotel ik a lot of ppl weren't crazy abt this season but I thought it was rlly good! the acting was so good, especially evan peters, his portrayal of kai n all the other cult leaders was amazing. this season was rlly scary, especially because it hit pretty close to home w all the politics, but I thought there were some pretty funny moments too! like when the guy saws his own arm off to vote for trump and the whole manwich thing w kai loll.

5. coven

tbh I feel like coven is a little overrated but I still love it! im a big stevie nicks/fleetwood mac fan so misty's whole obsession and the stevie nicks appearance made me so happy!! I loved the overall vibe of this season and I think it was definitely the funniest! kinda off topic, but WHY DO PPL LIKE MADISON?!!! she was hella annoying, zoe and kyle were the cutest couple. the only thing I wish was that this season was a little more scary.

6. freakshow

dandy lowk carried this season he was too funny bro. I loved all the musical numbers like EVAN PETERS SINGING NIRVANA AAA!! I thought this season was rlly sad, probably the most sad season I cried a lot. I liked it a lot but I feel like it was a little boring at times.

7. 1984

aaa this season was silly and campy (literally) in the best way possible! xavier and montana were so funny and I loved all the 80s music! such a fun season, but overall I like the ones I listed above better. 

8. red tide

RED TIDE IS AWESOME!! I think the plot was so unique and cool, and there were some rlly good characters like tuberculosis karen n austin. the whole idea of this season is so creative and I thought it was really good, but bc it was only half of the double feature season the ending was kinda lame and felt rushed. which is so sad bc the rest of it was awesome!! red tide should've been a full season :(

9. apocalypse

RETURN TO MURDER HOUSE YIPPEE! I rlly liked the murder house episode but besides that the season was kinda a let down imo. I hated michael langdon and I thought this season was overall kinda boring. YAY MURDER HOUSE THOUGH!

10. roanoke

I really liked how scary this season was, definitely the scariest! I also really liked the hillbilly horror aspect. however, roanoke (and all the characters) didn't rlly resonate w me, besides being scary roanoke didn't have a lot going for it.

11. delicate

I was rlly scared when I heard kim k was gonna be in this season but honestly she wasn't that bad and neither was this season (I didn't have high hopes) . I didn't rlly like the ending tho it was kinda lame, and I feel like the whole pregnancy/demon baby thing has been used a lot before. 

12. nyc

sooo sad bro :( but overall I thought it was pretty boring and I didn't rlly like any of the characters very much. all the metaphors were very obvious I wish they were a little more hidden tbh.

13. death valley

this was acc so bad idk what happened this should not have been made. a lot of the actors but especially kaia gerber were so bad it made me cringe. RED TIDE SHOULDVE BEEN A FULL SEASON!!!
