how august went

Well, August was honestly quite interesting.

I haven't done much asides from a lot of scouts-related stuff.

From the 5th to the 12th I was on an informative trip to Poland about the holocaust. With how morbid it was, I loved my team a lot and we still managed to have a great time together in our free time. Said free time was mostly lunch, but free time is free time. Also, funny story with the flights. On the way to Poland our flight was delayed- twice. Which is expected but I also didn't bring any money with me. First we were supposed to leave late at night to have enough time to go to two different locations. Then the flight was delayed to 7am because the pilot was hesitant to fly here during the night. Then the flight was delayed again to 9am for an unspecified reason. Basically, I spent what felt like forever in the airport. On the way back to Israel, the pilot almost completely cancelled the flight and I almost got stuck in Poland. Luckily the organizer of this trip managed to negotiate with the pilot to actually let us fly back- Even if the flight was at 4am. Yea I was half dead on the train and bus back home (which mind you was a 2 hour train and then another 30 minutes until my town). It was exhausting getting there, but honestly? I'd do this again. It was very informative and I really enjoyed learning more in-depth about an event that my family, from both sides, has actually been affected by.

Aside from this trip, I mostly did prep stuff for the new year at scouts. I'm responsible for the storage together with a small team and we mostly just organized stuff so that the place will be neat and tidy.

Anyways, with that out of the way: Vocal synth releases. I have to.

On the 5th, not a new vocaloid technically, but Galaco got a V6 update! Congratulations! I love her designs but I still haven't listened to her. It's just recreations of her past voicebanks and I kinda don't care about her in the first place. She also got a new talk voicebank which is cool.

On the 23rd, we got something interesting- We got a Minase Kou VOICEPEAK port, and a release of Minase Kou sibling's voicebank, Minase Rito! They're very welcome additions to the AHS vocal lineup. Rito has a nice design too.

On the 30th, released a vocaloid bundle of ALL the crypton vocals!! They're nothing special- Just new designs, but still a cool bundle. To my knowledge they used the data from the NT voicebanks, which upset a lot of people, but I don't care I saw the new Meiko design and got excited. Luka looks like she didn't quite got the memo of a sunday church outfit but I still love her. I'm also glad they got rid of those fuckass rain boots Kaito had in his V3. The rest I don't mind because they haven't changed much.

So yea... Not many vocal synth releases this month but still a very busy month. Seeya.
