It must be kinda tough to like the things most people hate. Imagine being genuinely interested in math and trying to talk to your friends about it only to be hit with “omg I hate math, math is the worst”.
And then people who keep pet bugs like spiders, centipedes, moths(honorary mention to snakes, they’re not an insect but they’re treated similarly) etc..are ALWAYS told things like “Oh I could never, I’d kill it on sight” LIKE BRO??? THATS THEIR PET?? AN ANIMAL THEY LOVE AND CARE FOR??
And I also dislike horror movies, can’t sit through one, EVER. But I’m not gonna cut my friend off in the middle of them telling me about whatever they watched? You love it, cool, tell me all about it! (As long as you don’t try to drag me to one)
But I feel like it has to be a little bit sad to like something people commonly vehemently HATE. It’s 'normal' to hate math and insects and horror movies and and and and-
Let’s be a little bit nicer to them, it’s fine to like different things!
