my work experience. . . experience!!!

* context ; for Transition Year - which is an optional year you can take in secondary school (equal to high school in the US) where you have the opportunity to do work experience for 1 day a week, taking a day out of school each week to complete it!!!

i'm currently on my one-hour break as i write this, the café that i wanted to go to was closed, so i'm stuck with the lunch my mom made for me, (which is super tasty tbh, soda bread is great, yummers) but yeahs
i'm sitting in an empty football pitch stand (with disgusting seats brodie, like what. . .) and listening to music - very losercore 
i'm working in a family-owned clothes shop, which isn't too bad - it's only one day a week; 10am-4pm, with break from 1:30-2:30
there's rarely any customers. . . in the entire time i was working, until break, there were about 5 people who came in
there's also only one other employee xdd but she's super nice, and showed me around the shop and how everything works 
it was all a bit messy since people were coming in to get uniforms, for back to school :*)
there's this massive book that has all of the uniform orders and we have to add an «LA», meaning «left aside», label if we have the stuff in stock, put them in bags, and call the customer
when she handed me that phone my eyes felt like they were gonna pop out of my head. what do you mean i have to call them?!!! i'm so bad at the phone, it's not even funny. . . but i did it woopee - cries 

but yeah. . . first day isn't so bad so far - i was super nervous going into it, worried i'd screw everything up - but in reality, that's the farthest from the truth - the world will keep spinning, either way 
working is better than being in school at this point in my life because of bullying and this one bitch that won't leave my friends alone and thinks we're friends, so. . . gosh

note ; home and editing right now :D the rest of this blog was written once i got home :)

my nose is so itchy and my lungs felt like they were burning at one point :*)) probably all of the chemicals from the clothes + the dust in the shop - i'll survive, though!!
the taste of the Fanta i bought while on my break is still in my mouth, which makes me feel slightly ill, but we'll survive lmao
also i learned some lore of the worker on THE FIRST DAY?!!! she was walking to one of the shops nearby one day - on one of the first few weeks she was working at this job, and fell, fracturing her wrist!!! she has a plate in it now, i'm glad she's okay. . . she also told me that - because she was on painkillers for her wrist recovery - she didn't realise the pain in her back, which ended up being really bad, too. . .  she's been through a lot, i feel bad for her - i'm glad she's recovered - though she told me that she can't write the same anymore :(( not trying to make this about myself - but if i were in her position, i wouldn't be able to draw anymore, which would be heartbreaking

also, little funny thing. . . she called me the wrong name lmao. . . for the whole day. . . i felt too bad to correct her, she was too sweet :*)  ← literally me every time she said the wrong name lmao

today was okay - long - but okay - i didn't feel like wanting to rip my eyes out at the sight of people in my year - because they were all at work, too!!! (however, to go home, i had to walk to where my mom had parked her car, which was past the school . . . almost died inside because i was definitely not wearing something people in there would approve of lmao. . . not trying to be ''i'm not like OTHER people'' but i don't dress how everyone else in my stereotypical, countryside, religious area would - which made them stare, lmao )

i felt self-conscious, but. . . doesn't everyone?..
anyways, going home, i felt okay - tired, but okay
i watched some LPS Popular in the evening, lmao. . . unironically pretty good - touches on some heavy topics, not in the best way, but i digress. . . it was 2014!! 

that's pretty much all - my mom told me to go up and have supper a million years ago, so i'd better go eat xdd
