first time in a recording studio!!

I went to a recording studio for the first time today! It was so cool getting to see the console and all the gear. I'm doing a music production course atm, we went as part of the course. We ran through two workshops, the first on drum recording and the other was a breakdown of a DMA's track that the producer worked on. It's so cool to actually get to see that stuff, I didn't even know we were going until this morning so that was a surprise. I mean I knew at some point we were going to go but I didn't know it'd be today. Anyway, one step closer to actually getting to do this stuff all the time so that's pretty fucking cool
