I've realized lately that I have to update what I tell people when they ask what my food preferences are. When I was younger, I was grossed out by these protein options:
- shrimp
- tofu
- mushrooms
But now I can not only eat them without making a face or gagging, but excluding mushrooms, I actually quite enjoy them. Before I could stand those foods, I went through this with things like Brussels sprouts, and asparagus, so it's not entirely surprising to the people around me. I'm honestly shocked because I hated those proteins.
