starting off with.. Yesterday i FINALLY got my new CDs!!!
Its: Ploho - When the soul sleeps, Type -O: October Rust, and Issues by Korn
I have 7(counting my Kpop phase NWJNS CD) in my collection now, planning on getting more in the future.
Anyways, i really loveee Lifelover, i dont care that its a popular within the genre, its favorite. they helped me live throughout last years winter and schools finals, i really dont give two fucks!!! >_<
anyways.. TIKTOKFICATION OF 2000'S SUBCULTURES
1. SCENE KIDS
As an ex-scene kid i really dont like "modern scene" with their 6arelyhuman and rebzyyx shit calling it scene music. "scenecore!" Its hyperpop, its literally hyperpop. And sassy scene isnt a thing. out of the 3 years i been scene and enjoyed that genre i always knew it was,, gosh everyone feels like they're posers now...
The subculture really feels watered down now and now almost everyones just zim invader enjoyers c&p
where are the ones who knows the differences and love dot dot curve, brokencyde, millionaries, ect?!
2. TIKTOKFICATION OF EMO & Y2K
Its annoying, really. Not wearing all black makes you "emo" and everything is considered emo now. Someone could be literally wearing an ushanka and those dirty baggy clothes that now trend everywhere, thousands of belts, and get called emo... like what?? wheres the skinny jeans and side parts WE NEED EMOS BACK οΌοΌΒ΄Π΄ο½οΌ
For Y2K, Now people just see it as acubi and with those fucking starts in the middle of the shirt. Like wheres the mcbling and the real 2000s style, WHERE ARE THE JUICY COUTURE MFS AND DUCK NAILS??, ECT?
IK all of this makes me sound like a BITCH but its genuinely upset how people water down subcultures from what it genuinely is and give it a different name ykwim. especially if someone wants to get in a certain fashion...
Β Like someone asks and some mfs be like "Ohh that style is called emo-y2k-baddie-goth-grunge-horror-main-character-scene-gangster" like wtf lil bro?!?!??! (οΌΒ°ΠΒ°)
