you cant be alternative if you are a conservative!!

this is not gatekeeping, this is just facts!!

firstly, ik alternative means anything that isnt mainstream, but in this blog im talking abt the alternative movement started by punks in the 1960s. 

the punk movement started in the 1960s mostly in Brittan but later branched out the other places like America, punk is a political movement!! im not going to explain all of punk culture, but everyone knows that punk was made against conservatives, it was made to rebel and spread awareness of how bullshit the conservatives and right siding people were. protesting for leftist views and anarchy. 

as the punk movement got bigger and bigger, people started to branch out while being punk, they tried different styles and music. Goth started from this, eventually grunge, and all of the alternative styles we know. 

punk is a huge political movement specifically against right siding veiws, i believe that you CANNOT be conservative if you are alternative, because all alternative subcultures were made because of punk. while you dont have to belive ALL punk veiws you still have to have leftist veiws.

I have seen people on titkok who are openly a "goth conservative" THIS IS BULSHIT!! 

we CANNOT let conservatives ruin all of our history and claim it as their own!! CONSERVATIVES GET IN YOUR FUCKING PLACE! WE DO NOT LIKE U! 

along with this is also belive you cant be racist, abelist, homophobic, transphobic, sexist, ect if you are alternative, which for the most part is not an issuie, but i have seen some "alts" that are transphobic.
