I'm going to talk about everything I worked on for my games, it's been a pretty slow month due to other obligations, hoping next month I'll have more time to work on them.
Ten Dreams:
- Character design for Kasui (protagonist) was created.
- Brainstormed Ayame's character design, nothing finalized.
- Created several puzzles for Night 1.
- (scrapped) Kasui's home's house-plan.
(scrapped due to being realistic but hard to move in RPG Maker wit its tile system) - Wrote 2k words of the main script, which included some of the dialogue boxes when interacting with objects and introduction to the story.
- (mock ups) Small GUI elements, such as a banner that tells you what day/night you're on.
- (studies) Studied feng shui and airship works for specific scenes.
Arctic Blues:
- Brainstormed the plot and several ideas for horror elements.
- Wrote the main description for the game, and created the environment for the story.
- (planning) Turning the game into a 4-arc structure, as it's easier for me to write.
- Wrote down several of the creepy scenes, and made notes on some sound design elements.
- Main conflict is almost fully fleshed out, I just need to figure out how it ties up n a satisfying way.
- (studies) Human psyche in isolation + extreme living conditions.
