USO 2024

Hey!

Im not sure if any of my friends on here follow tennis but I want to just talk abt USO because im bored lol

Now that both Alcaraz and Djokovic have been knocked out, I am rooting for Medevev to win the men's draw. my first contender was Alcaraz, and not that i like Djokovic but i thought he had a good shot. i think Medevev has a fairly good shot now, although im not sure how hard or easy his draw is because i don't follow mens tennis as closely. i am just hoping that zverev does not make it past r4.

for the women's draw, of course, i am rooting for Iga Swiatek to win. i think she has a really good shot right now. her draw doesn't seem too diffucult and i am hoping on either swiatek-muchova or swiatek-sabalenka final. I could also hope for Paolini to make it but i have to root for Muchova in r4. i think her level has been much higher the last 2 rounds compared to r1, which was totally nerve-wracking. She stepped it up tonight especially after she got hit by that volley (not sure what people's obsession is with hitting iga with volleys lol) and totally crushed her opponent. if she can keep that level up in week 2 i believe the tournament can be hers for the second time.
