okay so if u disagree with some of these that is perfectly fine and normal these are hot takes for a reason
OKAY SO STARTING OFF:
Any country that operates using sharia law (or really any religious law) does not deserve to exist. As a country in 2024, suppressing rights and using religion as an excuse is disgusting and an extremely dated and dangerous way of ruling. I believe nations wishing to achieve progress need to conform to what the rest of the world has deemed as human rights. A specific example I can give is Iran. Iran was lost to the Islamic revolution in 1979 and, since then, women have completely lost their rights. It's a disgusting and cruel nation.
Communism has done more to damage Europe than anything else.

"it's their culture" is not an excuse to be racist/homophobic/transphobic/etc. This kinda relates to the first one, but I will not excuse general bigotry just because it's the "culture" of the person spouting it. I get into a lot of arguments because I tend to have strong opinions on how Islam and Christianity are treated differently. For one, I dislike them both equally. They both are generally bad for progress and have some pretty hateful and bigoted followers. However, for some reason, whenever I criticize Islam publicly, I get a lot of hate! On the other hand, I do the same for Christianity and I'm perfectly fine? Why are we just giving Islam the pass? It's just as, if not MORE damaging to people right now since its being enforced as law in some countries.
America is NOT as racist as you think. I know this may vary by ethnicity, but as a Mexican kid living in south, I have experienced little to no racism that actually affected me. I have been on the receiving end of some uneducated opinions, but I was usually able to teach them what they were actually saying, and they would switch up. I think the reason racism seems like such a pressing issue here is because we actually talk about it, as well as our other problems. The US has always been on the leading-edge change, so talking about our issues and rooting for a solution is exactly what we should be doing. I feel most other developed countries try to hide their issues in order to save their image.
The modern-day version of the American Democratic Party is everything BUT democratic. As a former die-hard democrat, the shitshow this party has fallen into is appalling. I watched the DNC with some of my friends and it could be confused with a Trump fan meetup with how many times they brought him up. We got little to no actual plans on policy changes and goals. Not only that, but the nominee, Kamala Harris, was not picked by the delegates! She won ZERO primaries, and she has yet to release her full policy list. We are three months away from election and the only things she mentioned were the 25k for first time homeowners (which would do nothing as sellers will just add 25k to the price), a ban on fracking (which she walked back on the CNN interview), and her VP wants to ban "weapons of war that he saw in combat." He never saw combat.
Instead of elaborating on policy, they spent the entire DNC shitting on Trump and trying to keep protesters out of the building. Did I mention that? There was a goddamn protest outside of the DNC. Ironic that Kamala, someone who claims to want a ceasefire in Gaza, also helped approve a deal that sent over $20,000,000,000 to Israel during her campaign.
The strategy that democrats are going for this election is just "Trump bad, don't vote him! Vote us!" and it's not working. They push trends on TikTok to people who aren't old enough to vote, they hold interviews with LEFT LEANING outlets and completely fuck them up, and they lie and manipulate their own voters into thinking they actually have their interests at heart. It would be some miracle of God for Kamala to win this election. With RFK endorsing Trump now? I am completely on the side of the Republicans, even though I normally am not.
You are allowed to disagree with people on the internet. This mostly applies to Spacehey itself, but I am seeing more and more add "DNI [insert common opinion here] or DNI [whole ass gender]" and it's so odd. Do people want to just live in an echo chamber their whole lives? I love talking to and debating people who have wildly different views than I as it helps me expand my knowledge on the topic at hand. You are never going to grow your database by just hearing the same shit over and over. It's boring and constitutes stupidity in my eyes as you don't want to step outside of your comfort zone to understand another perspective.
ok thats all ily

>>They push trends on TikTok to people who aren't old enough to vote
This, AND, let's not forget, Kamala was perfectly fine with Biden signing that bill to ban TikTok -- and yet, both of them miraculously have accounts on there to promote themselves! How ironic.
>>Do people want to just live in an echo chamber their whole lives?
Yes. Yes, they unfortunately do.
>>and they lie and manipulate their own voters into thinking they actually have their interests at heart.
THAT PART. Kamala literally does not give a single, solitary fuck about any of us. She will say whatever she thinks will get her elected, and then boom -- communism.
>>the nominee, Kamala Harris, was not picked by the delegates! She won ZERO primaries, and she has yet to release her full policy list.
Not only that, but she literally had the lowest approval rating of any VP in HISTORY. Literally everybody hated her, including the Dems, and now they expect us to believe everyone just suddenly loves her? LMAO.

I do agree that they're definitely treated differently. One of the biggest ways I see this is people disrespecting nuns, and the cross. People wear it as a "fashion accessory", and fucking dress up as nuns in lingerie. I have YET to see a single person put on a hijab and lingerie and mock Islam's religious symbols, or burn/stomp on a Quran, and they won't -- because they'd be canceled for life.
However, I will say I don't agree with you that Christianity is "bad for progress" -- they quite literally have so many denominations because there are many Christians who DO want change. Also, "bad followers" of a religion are not representative of the religion itself. Hateful Christians are not following their own religion.
Also, I'll add that "progress" is not always a good thing. I feel we're at the point where people want progress just for the sake of progress -- it's literally HOW we got to this conundrum.

The only reason people think America is very racist is because America is visibly racist if that makes sense? KKK, Trump etc like that's obvious racism but i'd say majority of European countries are far more racist because and i say this from experience. I mean good god- Europeans are hostile towards other Europeans that are one border away its insane. Racism here is so subtle and dangerous. In America even if you're a poc you can succeed in life like you had a black man as a president but i swear to my life none of the black/Middle Eastern friends i had in Greece have even gone to university! They were all immediately pushed in service jobs like its actually mental!
And yet Europeans tend to brush off America as extremely racist just cause here cops don't kill black men while also brushing off their racist past. In english schools kids are not actually being taught about the true racist past of England but we do learn about how horrible Americans were with slaves... its weird!
