An attempt: I failed.

So there's a local computer store in my city that I go to in order to dig through their eWaste pile to get some occasional goodies. I've wanted to have a job there for a bit now, and when I asked the location I was going to if they had any open, I was redirected to one of their other locations.

That location is a bit more of a hike, having to go on two buses instead of one like the other location, but I decided that didn't matter today. The problem is, I saw they were closing at 2pm today on google maps. This would not have been a problem, if it wasn't 1pm. I booked it there, and got there 10 minutes before google said they would close- only to read on their hours sign that was on the front door, that they closed at 12.

I uh, went to a gas station and bought some snacks after that, then went home. So I will not get into the process of getting a job there today, but I hope to go another day when they'll hopefully be open. Thank you for reading this entry, Maura George.
