How does one move on after a breakup?

Asking for a friend lol. I've been in love with my ex for over a year now with no end in sight. 

I had a lapse in judgement a while back and started dating someone, but I feel so guilty because I still have feelings for my ex. I love them both... what the  fuck do I do lmao.
