a new beginning

now I will start highschool in 4 (technically 3 because its almost 12 for me rn) days..im not as scared as i think I should be, somehow? all my friends are FREAKING out and losing their shit because we're gonna be in 9th grade now, big school with seniors..but I feel okay. its just gonna be how 6th graders feel about 8th graders when they get to middle school, right? Unless i run into those alleged creepy super seniors (been practicing my spinjitsu)

But anyways, my schedule says no math until term 2 which makes me very happy because that means more time for me to study, im not super incredible at math but my goal is to improve so :P but i got the easy subjects this semester as far as im concerned, i just hope i have at least one class with one of my besties..one person in our group is going to a different hs and thats so sad:( im gonna miss her shes so sweet..but its ok, we'll get to hang out eventually

a bit after the first few weeks, we're gonna go in a field trip to a camp thingy so we can meet people, do fun stuff and whatnot..never been to a camp..im also super thrilled for music! I have to stay behind 2 times a week for repertoire, but no biggie, idm bc i get to do fun music stuff and im just like. super excited for that

also wtf mom??? we're going on a trip to the falls and coming back literally ONE day before the first day of school why is this even a thing...

but yeah, thats basically it :3 i have my bag, my supplies..and now i have to figure out what ill wear the first day UGHH
