im scared to go back to school

last year I started getting bullied by a few kids in my grade and it was progressively getting worse throughout the year and I'm worried its gonna start to get really bad this year. It really sucks especially cause the main kid who's doing it is really well liked so anytime I mention it I just get met with "oh hes so nice to me though" or " I'm sure its not that bad, hes a nice kid" and I just don't want to have to deal with it
