The lochnager crater (made during the First World War)


The crater was made by British engineers by detonated over 27 tons of TNT, around 2,000 imperial Germans soldiers were killed as a result.


The crater is still visible today is is an astounding 330 ft (100m) wide and 55 ft (16m) deep
