Can you get addicted to buying books?

To answer my own question, yes. You in fact can get addicted to pretty much anything.

As it happens to be, I could probably be used as a very suitable case study on this. Because I go absolutely FERAL when it comes to books. Not a day goes by where I don't think about expanding my book collection. My shelves aren't filled yet. I need more. More and more. Always.

AND NO!!!! NOT JUST ANY "GOOD" BOOK WORKS. The cover MUST succumb to my tastes. Yes I judge a book by its cover. IT'S GOING TO BE IN MY ROOM SO IT BETTER LOOK NICE OR I WILL RIP IT TO SHREADS LIKE A DOG WITH RABIES. Idk why but I'm probably one of the most picky person when it comes to book covers.

Oh but this week... god decided to grant me a blessing. Not only did I get the copy of Psycho that I've been eyeing for some time, I ALSO FOUND JUST THE EXACT COPY of American Psycho that I've YEARNED FOR SO LONG!!!! GOD KNOWS HOW MANY YEARS I'VE DREAMED ABOUT THIS BOOK. HALLELUJAH!!

I'm going insane, I am foaming at the mouth. I have not been this happy and excited for a while. Is it concerning to get this passionate about getting a book instead of the important things happening in my life? Yes a little bit... AAAAAAARFHGHH BUT OH MY GOOOOD I'M SO HAPPY!½!!

On another note, I saw a huge ass hare today. It was the size of a corgi or something. It was just hanging out there eating grass in out yard. Pretty crazy.
