Ooooo she talkin' bout music!

Yes! I wanted to give you guys something more to know me a little better and music is such a large part of my life, I figured i would tell you all about some of my favorites!

I'm always tempted, whenever someone asks me what my favorite music is, to say something generic like, "oh, I like rock and metal," which feels so boring 'cause like, yeah that's most people's favorite kind of music. Alternatively, my newest favorite question to ask people when it comes to getting to know them has been:

"What's the most niche music genre you listen to?"

It makes people really rack their brains considering what genres they actually listen to.

Oh, my answer? you're so kind to ask! I think the music genre that's the most niche would probably hypnogogic pop, or eccojam, which are both derivative of vaporwave. It's not my Favorite Genre Ever but I don't know anyone else (as of writing) that listens to it as well.

My "Eccos of a Dream" playlist on my profile is a good, if kinda basic, example of the genre, if it sounds interesting to you!

Otherwise, i fall mainly into the trappings of listening to pretty basic "Chronically Online Girl" bands, like Lemon Demon, Tally Hall, Worthikids (who just released a new album ((that I'm currently listening to while typing)) as of writing),  NSP, FNF, etc.

Although i also listen to other stuff!

For Example, Belzebubs is a really fun take on Norwegian Black Metal. HANABIE is really good too! I also really got into Bloodywood for a solid while. Crypt and Quadeca are lyrically really interesting to listen to sometimes as well! Unfortunately, the history behind PWR BTM is really sad to learn about, but i really like their music still.
