this is genuinely insane

on my ARTstreet/medibang page, my bio says to not send me friend requests unprompted, and if one does, they'll be blocked (here it's fine since followers aren't a thing) 

but today alone I got 2 friend requests from people I have never interacted with at all. I swear in total I've gotten like 20. some are from nft scammers but a lot are just from random people who genuinely didn't read my bio. why do you wanna be friends with someone you can know more about but choose not to??? what???? like I could have "raging homophobe and racist" in my bio and you would just never know (I am neither of those things but u get it)

seriously please I cannot see the logic behind this someone help me
