I see a lot of people posting in the blog about their therapy and I’m so glad so many of you are able to get help. I went to so many different types of therapy/counselling over the course of about 3 years starting from the age of 14, and if I could go back and give myself any advice it would be that some of the things your therapist tells you, isn’t meant to instantly heal you, but you’ll probably look back in the future and remember so many useful things/tips/advice/ that at the time can seem useless but will be useful at some other stage in life. Having said that though not all therapists are nice, and therapy definitely isn’t for everyone, but it’s always worth trying if you feel like you really need the help.
