news!!

Today was the second day back at school. Anyways, my chorus teacher (who is the drama director) informed me that I will get to design the set for the school musical! Our play is... uh... Willy Wonka. It's a little childish for us, i'll admit, but it's okay. I'm still really excited to be in crew for it, and having such a high role.

For a bit of background, last year there was a lot of conflict and our second drama director quit. This means that me and another kid have to fill in. It'll be a lot, but I'm ready. Last year we had a student written play, which I was the stage director for, and I was understudy asm (asisstant stage manager) and prop master for our school musical last year. I was promised the actual ASM role this year, so I really hope I do get it.
