SOOOOO FOR CONTEXT I POSTED A BLOG YESTERDAY ABOUT HOW I WANTED 2 BE FRIENDS WITH THIS ONE PERSON AT MY SCHOOL CUZ WE HAVE CLASSES TOGETHER AND WE SIT REALLY CLOSE TO EACHOTHER (squid is obv not their real name btw its the fake name i chose to use) and guys guess what. all that training i did where i spoke to people i didn't know. it worked. it paid off. i WAS ABLE TO SUSTAIN SEVERAL CONVERSATIONS WITH SQUID !!! IN BOTH CLASSES!!!!! AND I WASNT EVEN STARTING ALL OF THEM WHICH MEANS THEY MIGHT GENUINELY HAVE INTEREST IN BEING MY FRIEND I THINK??? IDFK HOW THIS STUFF WORKS OK. BUT I THINK THIS IS A GOOD THING????
u guys literally dont understand how important this is 2 me. i have always struggled so hard to make friends and its like i've gotten even worse in the past few years. sometimes i try to talk to people and no sound comes out of my mouth because of how scared i get. today was nothing like that. im so joyous rn. also i know we might not rlly count as friends rn but like. again, we do sit next to eachother in two classes, so it'd make sense if we kept talking and became friends over the school year. which i hope does happen cuz they seem like a rlly funny person!!
im so happy im finally starting to come out of my shell. and you know who else came out of their shells. cephalopods when they evolved. well technically octopuses were the only ones who fully lost their shells i think, squids and cuttlefish have internal shells and nautiloids still have an outer shell obviously. sorry for the random rant about cephalopod evolution i really like cephalopods lmao
