GRANDFEST!

im SO excited for the grand festival, im sad too, but mostly excited. i'm personally going on team present and no its not just cuz of off the hook. i DO love off the hook, but they arent the only reason im choosing team present, its cuz i actually value the present the most. 

thinking about either the past or the future make me feel regret and make me anxious, but living in the present doesn't. ofc its important to be prepared for the future, but sometimes the best way u can do that is by focusing on you right now instead of worrying about the hypothetical you in the future. 

i also love all of the idol's reasons for joining the teams they did. 

the squid sisters chose team past because they value those who came before them and the things that made them into who they are. 

off the hook chose team present because they are happy together, right now, regardless of what happened in the past or what the future might bring. 

deep cut chose team future because they're excited for the fame and riches the future will bring, and they can continue to have fun together.

three wishes is so good btw if u havent listened to it you 100% should. its a "now or never seven" (if ur out of the splatoon loop thats the name for the combination of all the idol groups) song and its about the grandfest and each of the groups have their own section to sing. its so good i almost started crying when i listened to it. off the hook's part is so good
