wow, it's been a hot minute since i last logged on here. hey there.

it's nice to see that nothing's changed about spacehey. that always bothers me with most websites. they can't seem to find whatever their shtick is and stick with it. but i digress.

it has been 2 years since my last activity on here. i was 19 then, i'm almost 22 now, and a lot about life has changed for the better for me!

i had a pretty bad slump starting in summer 2022 and lasting until around the end of 2023, when i graduated high school and become completely jaded and disengaged from everything. to keep it short: in my pursuit for a job, recreation and purpose in life, i had discovered that the job market was completely oversaturated and if i had gone into jobbing like i originally intended after graduating, i would have been stacking shelves and driving forklifts around for the next decade or 2.

so with that, i decided to head to college instead! as of writing, i'm studying english and philosophy, and i'm heading into my second semester right now. it's been fun so far and i've even made a new friend who i appreciate very much.

as for other things i have on the docket, i have an idea for 2 albums that i want to make and release sometime in the future. the first is an ambient/electronic album that i'm already working on, and the second is a more rock-oriented, guitar driven sound that i've always wanted to explore. you can head to my newgrounds linked on my spachey profile to see what i have going on at the moment, though the albums will be on bandcamp once they're ready. i'll let you know when i've cooked those up.

also, personal website coming soon! when that's done, i probably won't have much use for spacehey anymore. but we'll see how things fall into place.
