my condolences to Mariah Carey

yesterday Mariah Carey announced that both her mother and her sister had passed away on the same day. this is unimaginably heartbreaking and i hope that she allows herself time to navigate through her grief. her relationships with both of these women were very complicated.

it pains me to see that someone who has brought so much joy and light into millions of peoples lives has to go through something so incredibly hurtful.
