No Nuance November: SuperLock Edition.

I remember scrolling through Twitter a year ago today when the finale dropped. It was absolute hell for me. I understand everyone was sad that it ended, but the one thing that got me was the Destiel shippers. I remember when the series was about 10 seasons in, Supernatural fans like myself warned the Destiel shippers that Dean and Cas were never going to be endgame. The writers never really talked about it. 

However, they didn't listen, and when the series ended, the Destiel shippers accused the writers of "queerbaiting" and called the series finale episode homophobic. 

It makes me think of the Sherlock fandom, being part of SuperWhoLock and all. Us Sherlock fans and Johnlock shippers, we didn't even get a finale. We didn't get 15 seasons and our own panels at ComicCon. We just sit in the archives and suffer in silence. 

There's evidence that Johnlock was more canon than Destiel. Just watch the pilot episode of Sherlock.
